The
Board of Regents has collaborated with ACT Inc. to develop the High
School to College Progression and Completion Report
to track South Dakota high school students for up to six years in
the Regental system. Using data from the 1999 and 2000 high
school graduates from school districts throughout South Dakota,
the report provides comprehensive data on student retention, proficiency,
and graduation rates organized by a student's ability to meet College
Readiness Benchmarks . A detailed review of the more
than 5,500 graduates who entered the Regental system during this
time period can be found in the narrative report listed below.
Comparative data for all high schools with more than 10 students
in these two cohorts can be found in a series of eight tables for
each of the major data elements.
