Higher Education Policy in the News:
March 29, 2012 -- The South Dakota Board of Regents approved tuition and mandatory fees for the upcoming academic year. The impact to students within the public university system is an average cost increase of $463.97 per year, or 6.5 percent.
March 29, 2012 -- The South Dakota Board of Regents has adopted a framework for a performance funding model that rewards public universities for their success in producing college graduates.
March 29, 2012 -- A lower-cost option for delivering the first two years of a baccalaureate education will be offered soon at University Center-Sioux Falls. The UC-SF Foundations program aims to bring new students into South Dakota’s public university system and graduate more of them to meet workforce demands.
